A naive eighteen-year-old found himself involved in the midst of one of the most bizarre and dangerous schemes any government ever dreamed up when he placed his name on the list of people signed up for the Oklahoma land rush. The government was giving away fifty-thousand plots of land but one -hundred- thousand people signed up. It was a mad race to be the first to grab a numbered flag that claimed ownership of a piece of land. Horses trampled man when they fell in the rush, gunshots were fired in disputes over who really was first to reach a flag., melees were the realm of the day. A determined eighteen-year-old raced for the piece of land he had chosen to go after. Unfortunately, he lost track of Mary Beth. His first night on his new land, while sitting at his camp fire three bad outlaws decided to rob him and kill him. The leader of the gang was just a little too slow.

George is an old fashion story teller. In the old timey tradition of the Bards and Minstrels of old. His stories give the reader a respite from the day to day grind, it allows us to for few hours to move back to a time when a man’s word was his bond You will experience the gamete o emotions as you interact with the life like characters, you will often shed a tear at their miso runes and you will more often find your self laughing out loud. Your biggest disappointment will be when you realized that you are looking at the last page of the book. That is why more and more people are coming back for the next book.
