Contains an index, source notes, an appendix, and a bibliography in the rear.Original publisher's blue covers with gilt spine lettering. There is a small previous owner name and purchase note written along the inside of the front end paper along the gutter--quite unobtrusive--else, a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. Dust jacket in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings. The dust jacket is now in a protective, removable, acetate cover.
