After the death of Joshua, the text tells the stories of the Judges, men and women appointed by God to rescue the Israelites from their oppressors, including the great victories of Samson, and his final revenge on the Philistines' temple of Dagon. The text is illustrated with artwork, specially commissioned from Italian artists, and there are maps to indicate where the events took place.
