Sean McLoughlin is a lecturer in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Leeds. While his research to date has focused on Muslim communities in Britain, he has experience of teaching across a wide range of themes and traditions in the study of religion. His first book, Representing Muslims: Religion, Ethnicity and the Politics of Identity (Pluto Press, London) was published in 2004.
