About the Authors
Philip's Stargazing Month by Month 2020 is written by two of the UK's best-known and respected astronomers.
Prof. Heather Couper and Prof. Nigel Henbest are qualified astrophysicists, dedicated to sharing their love of the cosmos to everyone. They work in TV and radio broadcasting, international presentations, and have written over fifty popular books between them.

Heather Couper (Author)
Professor Heather Couper CBE, BSc, DLit, DSc, FInstP, CPhys, FRAS is a past President of both the British Astronomical Association and the Society for Popular Astronomy. Asteroid 3922 Heather is named in her honour. She is a former Millennium Commissioner, for which she was awarded the CBE in 2007.

Nigel Henbest (Author)
Nigel Henbest has been Astronomy Consultant to New Scientist magazine, Editor of the Journal of the British Astronomical Association, and Media Consultant to the Royal Greenwich Observatory. He is also a Future Astronaut with Virgin Galactic.
