Wear to tips, edges, and spine. Half-inch surface tear to cloth at foot of spine. Gift inscription on first blank end paper. Cloth has some spotting and fading. Samuel Taylor Coleridge was one of the most notable 19th-century English romance poets. Coleridge's longest poem was ' The Rime of the Ancient Mariner '. This poem was one of the most important poems written at the end of the 18th-century. It was illustrated by famous French artist, Gustave Dorà , known for his incredible woodcut engravings. Letter presenting the book to the library tipped to front free endpaper. § First American edition. (First London edition was 1875.) A respectable ex-library copy (properly released) of an uncommon book very hard to find in good condition.
