Based on the 1960 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Harper Lee. Nominated for eight Academy Awards, winning three, including Best Actor for Gregory Peck and Best Screenplay. Nominated for the Palme d'Or. Set in fictional town of Maycomb, Alabama, shot on location in Monroeville, Alabama and Pasadena, California. Red titled wrappers, noted as FINAL SCREENPLAY on the front wrapper, dated December 27, 1961.
