Cream cloth spine with blue title is a bit age darkened, especially at the top. Hard paper covers in beige with blue pen and ink fountains in squares, minor normal age to the covers. Interior is lightly toned but otherwise unmarked. Quite scarce, OCLC. 47734342. Dame Agnes Jekyll, DBE (née Graham; 12 October 1861 28 January 1937) was a British artist, writer and philanthropist. The daughter of William Graham, Liberal MP for Glasgow (1865 1874) and patron of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, sister-in-law of the famous gardener. A collection of aphorisms, poems, short essays, and quotations that Jekyll enjoyed.
