Laid in is a business card from Norton Wright Productions, with a brief inscription on the verso, addressed to Ilse (Ilse Lahn of Paul Kohner agency), thanking her for being patient in returning scripts. A young boy cannot accept that his grandfather has died so he runs away to find him. A spiritual coming-of-age tale. Tan titled wrappers. Title page present, undated, with credits for screenwriters Root and Stanley. Last leaf of text numbered 114. Xerographic duplication, with photocopied punch holes. Pages and wrapper Near Fine, bound with three gold brads.

Based on the 1919 play by Langdon McCormick, about a love triangle between two adventurers and a woman who is stranded in their cabin during a blizzard. One of John Huston's first jobs in film, as a screenwriter and extra. 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Bifold. Very Good plus, with light wear and creasing.
