The only independent new bookstore in the Springfield area, and the only bricks and mortar mystery bookstore in Downstate Illinois. Store formerly housed the Smith Dress Shop, 1922-1991. Owner lives in apartment above the store. Located 20 miles south of Springfield on Illinois Route 4, part of Historic Route 66.
